Refund Policy

A Legal Disclaimer

The Kyoto Vibe follows the refund and return policies in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines for e-commerce transactions. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method within 5-10 business days, subject to banking and payment gateway processing times. The Kyoto Vibe is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions, banks, or payment processors.

Refund Policy - The Basics

At The Kyoto Vibe, we value customer satisfaction and strive to provide high-quality streetwear. Since our products are made-to-order, refunds and returns are handled on a case-by-case basis.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

  • Defective or Damaged Product – If you receive a product that is defective, misprinted, or damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with proof (clear images).

  •  Wrong Item Received – If you receive an incorrect size, design, or product that you didn’t order.

  • Lost or Undelivered Orders – If your order is not delivered within 30 days from the shipping date, we will investigate with the courier and process a refund if necessary.

2. Non-Refundable Cases

  •  Change of mind or ordering the wrong size/color (please refer to the size chart before purchase).

  •  Minor color differences due to screen variations.

  • Delays caused by customs, courier partners, or incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

3. Refund Process

  • Submit a Request – Email us at support@thekyotovibe.com within 7 days of delivery with order details and photos.

  • Verification – Our team will review your request and approve/refuse based on the eligibility criteria.

  • Refund Timeline – If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days, per RBI guidelines.

4. Payment & Processing Fees

  • Refunds will be issued in INR for domestic transactions and in the original currency for international payments.

  • Bank charges, currency conversion fees, or gateway processing fees (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund amount.

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

  • If a payment dispute is raised via a chargeback, The Kyoto Vibe reserves the right to investigate before approving a refund.

  • Customers are encouraged to contact us directly before filing a dispute with their bank.
